CHOOSE A FRAME BASED ON YOUR FACE SHAPE
Choose a frame according to the shape of the face
Glasses, a real accessory for many people, both to correct their vision, but also to complete a look!
However, finding a frame that best suits your body type can sometimes be a real challenge! So today, we're giving you some tips to help you find THE perfect frame for you.
OVAL FACE
Oval faces have balanced features, with a rounded jawline and cheekbones that are slightly wider than the forehead. Rectangular or geometric frames are ideal for highlighting the features of this type of face. Frames shaped wider than the face are also recommended to create visual balance.
SQUARE FACE
A square face is characterized by a strong jawline and a broad forehead, with equal proportions of width and length. Regarding the choice of frame, it is possible to highlight your face by using geometric shapes, while avoiding square shapes, or by softening the angles with oval shapes with softer lines.
For men, it is advisable to choose an angular frame that accentuates the muscular aspect of the face. On the other hand, if you are a woman, a more rounded shape will soften the facial features.
ROUND FACE
A round face is characterized by smooth lines without angles, with equal proportions of width and length.
When it comes to frame choice, a narrow, angular frame can help lengthen or slim the face. It is possible to highlight your face with rounded shapes or to correct your features with geometric, angular and stretched shapes.
RECTANGULAR FACE
This type of face is longer than it is wide and can sometimes have quite a long nose.
When it comes to frame choice, it's possible to make the face look shorter and more balanced by trying contrasting frames that add width to the face, or have a low bridge to shorten the nose.
To widen the face, it is possible to choose fairly large oval frames, such as the " cat eye " or " butterfly " style. On the other hand, it is recommended to avoid too rectangular shapes which harden the features of the face.
